The Nevada Medicaid Program Covers:
The Division of Health Care Financing and Policy works in partnership with the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services to assist in providing quality medical care for eligible individuals and families with low incomes and limited resources. Services are provided through a combination of traditional fee-for-service provider networks and managed care.
Nevada Medicaid is a program that provides quality health care services to low-income Nevadans who qualify based on federal and state law. Nevada Medicaid does not reimburse an idividual; rather, it sends payments directly to the health care providers for services provided to Medicaid recipients.
Nevada Check Up is a program designed for families who do not qualify for Medicaid, but whose incomes are at or below 200% of the federal poverty level (FPL). Participants in the Nevada Check Up program are charged a quarterly premium based on income.
